Due to the popularity of last year’s sale, KEENAN is once again holding a mid-season sale of Approved-used and second-hand diet feeders from June 9-15. The sale is open to all farmers in Ireland and the UK. Machines can be viewed in person by pre-appointment or can be viewed virtually.

Interested farmers are invited to download the catalogue by visiting the mid-season sale page or can request a catalogue by phoning (059) 977 1200. A number of pre-arranged appointments which will respect social distancing guidelines will be made available to people who would rather deal in person. These appointments need to be booked in advance of calling to the factory in Borris, Co. Carlow. Two additional dates for the sale have been added for farmers in Northern Ireland (no requirement to pre-book). On June 16 + 17, diet feeders will be available to view at Dungannon mart, Co. Tyrone.

If any farmer would like more detailed technical information or has questions about a specific model within the catalogue, they can chat with a service engineer in confidence. KEENAN are also glad to answer any questions from farmers that are new to using a diet feeder.  

Focus on KEENAN quality

When pre-owned machines are taken back into the factory (either demo models or trade–ins) they undergo a detailed inspection to ensure they meet a stringent base level of quality. Then, similar to a rigorous aircraft overhaul, suitable models are stripped back to basics and each component is re-built as required. Each machine undergoes a meticulous 60–point check, before been given the KEENAN Approved-used badge of approval. This year’s mid-season sale will also feature a range of second-hand trade-in machines that will be sold in their current un-refurbished condition for farmers to purchase. These can start from as little as €45 per week, subject to a 20% up-front deposit*.

All KEENAN Approved-used machines come with an extended 6-month warranty. In addition, the farmer will receive a voucher for a free service. Whenever, they cash in the voucher for the free service, they will receive an additional 10% discounts on parts bought on the day of the service. All diet feeders are compatible with the InTouch nutritional support system.
